NOLA
Where: 111 Kings Court
When: Tuesday – Sunday from 8 am to 2 pm
Get a taste of authentic New Orleans cuisine without crossing the state line. NOLA’s tasty menu features a Texas take on some of the most popular Big Easy dishes, including shrimp and grits, muffalettas, and beignets. You’ll also find savory choices like the blue crab omelet, eggs rockafella, and the New Orleans brunch plate which come loaded with eggs, praline bacon, fried green tomatoes, and grits.
Snooze Eatery
Where: 255 East Basse Road Suite 160, The Quarry, San Antonio
When: Open daily, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm
Snooze was actually born in Denver, Colorado back in 2006. Since then, however, they’ve grown to includes locations in California, Arizona, and Texas. The menu is packed with all kinds of tasty, creative brunch dishes, such as Juan’s Breakfast Tacos, the Everything Bacon Sensation Sandwich, or the Steak + Eggs Benny. Snooze is a walk-in, first-come-first-serve establishment.
Pancake Joes
Where: 1011 Donaldson Ave & 6703 Ingram Rd
When: Open daily, 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
This family-owned breakfast diner is a longtime neighborhood favorite with two locations in San Antonio. The menu is jam-packed with breakfast classics such as omelets, french toast, steak and eggs, and, of course, big ol’ savory pancakes. You’ll also find some spectacular sandwiches and salads, as well as a daily quiche.
Acenar
Where: 146 E. Houston St
When: Saturday & Sunday 10:30am – 2:30pm
Acenar is a popular River Walk restaurant that cooks up some of the best Tex-Mex in San Antonio. Their brunch menu features a mouth-watering list of both unique and classic breakfast dishes. Pop in for a plate of Chilaquiles (fried corn strips mixed with scrambled eggs, árbol salsa and queso fresco) or just some fluffy Belgian waffles. Acenar is also open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
