Do Not Miss the San Antonio Home and Garden Show

Blurred, defocused background of public event exhibition hall. Business trade show or commercial activity concept

With so many things to do and see in San Antonio, it’s become a tourist hotspot. So, whether you plan to travel to Texas or live there, you don’t want to miss the San Antonio Home and Garden Show. Especially if you need inspiration for an indoor or outdoor project, this is the place to find it.

Key Details About the Event

You can go to the San Antonio Home and Garden Show at the Alamodome toward the end of February. If you’ve visited this venue before, you know it’s huge. Otherwise, you have something to look forward to.

The doors will open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 25, and Saturday, February 26. Then on Sunday, February 27, they’ll open at 11:00 a.m.

As for ticket prices, you have several options. First, you can purchase tickets at the box office. While general admission is $11, seniors will only pay $8.00. However, children 16 and under can enjoy the event for free. Second, you can buy tickets online at a 50 percent discount.

Special Ticket Offers

In true San Antonio style, the organizers of the San Antonio Home and Garden Show wanted to do something special for first responders, teachers, and military personnel. Here’s what they came up with:

Hero Day – Friday, February 24, 2023

This is a way to honor active military personnel and all first responders. That includes police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics. These individuals can enjoy the event at no charge. Anyone who falls in this group will need to present a valid ID.

Teacher Day – Sunday, February 26, 2023

Every day, teachers around the country take charge of classrooms to help educate kids. Sadly, they’re not appreciated nearly as much as they deserve. For that reason, the organizers also want to pay tribute to them. As with first responders, there’s no charge for attending the San Antonio Home and Garden Show. Also, they must present a valid ID.

Habitat for Humanity International

In addition, you can buy a package for $25. The money will go to Habitat for Humanity International, and the organization will also enter you in a sweepstake. If you win, you and a guest will fly to Hawaii for 10 full days.
